At first glance :

Asami was soooooo damn pretty, it was ridiculous. She seemed like a very nice and sweet girl, but to be honest I was afraid she was just a pretty rich girl ya know? But I still really liked her. I didn’t if she had a place in the show considering the  confusion of the war going on…. She was only in a few minutes of the episodes where she made an appearance, and frankly she didn’t provide much depth to the story, minus the sports show part of it. I was kinda sad….

Datin’ Mako, aka sinking ships begin here:

I was religiously shipping Makorra. So her appearance made things difficult. At the same time, I’m always for an actual loving relationship and I was happy for Mako and Asami when I saw how damn cute they were! I was never a Asami-hater because of what she did to the ship because they seemed to legitimately care about one another, so why can’t two people like that be together? ….. But…. poor Korra.

I WAS SO CONFUSED. THE MAKORA THE BOKORRA THE MASAMI SHIPS

I didn’t know what to do with this…

At this point the Makorra fan in me was so excited, but the new found Masami fan in me was upset, BUT THE VERY NEW BOKORRA FAN IN ME WAS DEPRESSED AS FUUUUUUUUU.

Man, it sucked to have all those crazy love interest twists thrown at us, and what was even worse was the fact that poor Asami is none the wiser to her, effectively cheating boyfriend.

After that though, I think I might of starting really supporting Bolin and Korra…

As a girl, Korra needs a lover like Bolin. She’s not unattractive, but still kinda boyish. Korra is tough, and I admire that in her, but it’s a shell that Korra really needs to get rid of if she plans to have a romantic relationship. Bolin allowed just that. Korra didn’t feel “very date-worthy” but Bolin allowed her to see her cute girly side because of all the compliments he gave her! I strongly believe that Korra needs that as a girl.

ANYWAYS BACK TO ASAMI

Seeing her differently:

For a nice rich girl it was really nice seeing how cool she could be!

SHE DRIVES A RACE CAR.

And now her and Korra can be BEST FRIENDS FOREVER

The Satos and The Equalists:

I’m not going to lie to you, I was very, very afraid of the Satos being part of the bad guy team. Frankly, I enjoyed Asami’s character so much that I didn’t want her to be ruined. I also thought it was too predicable…

Sadly, LoK took that path.

Hiroshi Sato turned out to be bad guy helper Numero Uno, and it sucked. He had good reason for it, but I was still really annoyed at the show for doing something so predictable… Because of the whole thing coming out in the open, I started suspecting poor Asami too…. Gaaaaaaaaaah I was really mad, and for a a second it looked like I had lost character I really liked…

(Though she looked so badass…. )

UNTIL

I can’t wait to see more of this. I really can’t. This was incredible, and I was so happy. SO VERY HAPPY.

I’m a little scared we’re going to have a Zuko problem of the whole back and for thing, but I want to believe in Asami as much as I can!

It also seems that Korra has given up on Mako. That was very admirable of her.

… Let’s just hope she never finds out Mako kissed Korra….
